Serving breakfast, lunch and dinner.  Reasonably priced three meal restaurant with varied menu at breakfast and lunch.  Transformed into white tablecloth and candlelight seafood specialty restaurant for evening dinners.  Chef Chico was formerly at Cambria's popular Sea Chest before bringing his special touch with seafood to Paso Robles.  Steak lovers. Don’t despair--there's a rib-eye on the menu.

This newest addition to downtown has enlivened the "scene" for cocktails, wining, dining, music and fun in Paso.  The basement space adds a speakeasy feel to an otherwise classy space that has spaces for restaurant, bar, lounge, bandstand, dance floor and comfortable seating.  Late weekend hours can be standing room only or a quiet din--it's hard to predict.   

McPhee’s Grill

Friday through Sunday, Dallas and Caren Holt, who are winegrowers as well as chefs, serve up a Basque feast at their small cafe in nearby San Miguel.  There is one seating, 7. p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 6 p.m. on Sunday and it's cash only, no credit cards.  Everything is served family style at long tables, with platters of food that come in what seems like an unending procession from the kitchen.  A virtual party atmosphere.
